For your consideration... This 6/8 Wade & Butcher wedge blade has been rescaled at least TWO times, and honed by who knows how many people over it's 100+ years of service. Most recently, it was done in Maple and Amboyna Burl with genuine abalone inlays on each side, by Aquanin of SRP. It is sold Shave Ready. Your whiskers will run in fear. My only two complaints: 1) the toe touches the (genuine turquoise) wedge verrrry slightly when closing, and 2) the blade doesn't QUITE close perfectly centered. I know, I'm fussy.
