I picked this up on my recent antique store run, and I've never seen one before. Does anybody know what the brush was used for? Mr. Irving?

I agree. I don't think those kind of bristles would work for hair.

That's neat, but how do you know it's an Ever-Ready set?

it seems to fit. ever ready made some clever/quirky sets in their time.

on a side note, when you pop open the razor head, it says ever ready :happy013

the razor itself is a 1924, so somewhere around there.

    Thanks, Dave!

On a sidenote, the blade that's in there is still sealed, which is kind of cool.

It is a shoe brush travel set. Gillette made one as well except there's was more toward grooming with nail clippers etc..

    Good find.
