Several years ago, my wife and I went shopping at a Lebanese-owned supermarket, and I came accross this cream in the personal care section, so I figured with the price being so low, I'd be a sport and buy a tube. Well, I was very pleased, because the lather forms in a split second, and is extra-rich and creamy, with a pleasant, clean scent, and is actually very soothing, and cushiony! Recently, a friend of mine who comes from Lebanon, who was in Beirut visiting family there, and he brought me back a couple of tubes of this nice stuff. Definitely a good, honestly performing cream for an everyday working man to use and enjoy.
I have used this cream lots of time, and for the price you pay ($1 for a 150 mm tube) it is simply CHEAP! One thing I remember noticing and that is there was no ingredient list on the product, and from the quality of the lather I thought it did not have enough glycerin added to it. I would say it was no better or worse than Gibbs (Turkish one) or Gillette shaving cream (in a tube as it is still available in East Europe).
I like this scent better than the Cool Mint version. It's a very vague spicy soap scent. Gadas aren't luxury creams, but for the price you get a very good cream that works.
So today i will have tried the 3 version of Gada creams and my shave this morning was with the Original version. Again, it's another great Gada cream, the scent reminds me a bit of the Arko Moist shave cream but more subtle. In fact it's almost an unscented cream. As for the skin care and lather it is like all the Gada cream, top quality.
I find the scent very simple and clean--nothing fancy. The cream has all the right ingredients for perfect skincare.
