    Well I sure felt like a sissy man the first time until I got a good grip on it. Pretty nasty in there as well. But soaking in dawn bath now!

    do you need to find a case or handle,maybe both and have both sets? very cool..

    I talked to @Jayaruh he is looking at what he has. I’ll get a handle from him and keep this case and handle probably. I don’t have abunch of se razors but I really like this one.

    Yup, I had a feeling that it was original and it came apart. Also keep in mind; Modern Gem blades have a thinner spine than picture in that advert. So if you really want to shave with the blade angled correctly you'll need to shim the blade a hair...

    I have heard that people will take the spine off of an old Gem blade and use that as a shim under the spine of a new blade. I have not tried it myself as the oldest Gem Razor that I have right now is a 1912 (also a good shaver).
