I needed a way to store my tongue drum stand. Folded up, it’s about 24’ long & about 3.5” in diameter. The one storage tube that I could find with the right diameter, was this one from Viewtainer ; https://www.viewtainer.com/Viewtainer-Tethered-Cap-br-3625quot-x-37quot-br-9-x-94-cm-_p_29.html But it’s 36” long. The next size down was only 10”. It seemed a shame to have all of that empty space in the tube. So I measured the length to cut off & my husband did the actual cutting. I had already ordered extra end caps for the piece that was cut off. So now, I have a 25” tube for the drum stand, and an 11” tube to use for a folding stand for my ukulele.
