Hey guys, Ive been shaving with a Cheap Wilko's razor now for a few days due to the availability of the other razors. But it seems ot be pulling pretty badly, what am i doing wrong? Ive tried it with Canned gloop and a Brush and Cream, It just keeps pulling.. what should i do? Regards,
I think it could be you need to dial in your pre-shave prep, or it could be a lather with too little water, a dull blade, a blade that does not like you, or you may need to re-evaluate the angle that you are holding the razor. These are all guesses. Please tell us more about your pre-shave prep and your shave kit.
What Jeff said... a little more info on what goes into your shave and how you get through it. It may be your prep It may be your soap or cream (not slick enough or not enough cushion) It may be your lather (too thick, too thin, too dry) It may be your razor It may be your blade It may be your technique It may be your..... did I leave anything out? It may take a while to find out what the perfect combo for you is. But that's the fun of all this, ain't it? Stick with it! You'll get it!!
