Getting something new means something else has to go PiF

I've decided that when I get something new, I need to either sell or PiF an item from my den. Since I'm a recent PiF winner myself, I'm holding my first PiF.

Rules: You must be a member in good standing with a minimum of 25 posts. (CONUS) entries only please. Just reply whether you prefer vintage or modern razors and "I'm in" to this thread by 10pm (EST) March 17th and you're entered. The winner will be drawn by random number generator (random.org)

The prize is a new (although opened) Feather Popular razor w/case & blades.....

Revised 3/15: I was going through my den some more and since my question was vintage vs modern razors, I thought I'd add this NDC Gillette Ball Tech. The plating is worn but she's cleaned, sanitized and shave ready. This Tech is a great shaver.........

I'm in! I must say that I prefer modern razors but that might be due to the fact that I have never tried a vintage. Thank you for a really nice PIF!

And just the opposite. I've tried and enjoyed several vintage DE's, but no modern razors. All my gear has been from flea markets and antique stores. Not much new stuff in the wild.

I'm in. I prefer vintage so far because I haven't tried many new. I think that may change because I just got 2 new razors and they are both great.

 

I'm in, I prefer vintage but since I've only tried 4 razors my experiences are very limited. This is a great looking razor!

Not in. But, Prefer vintage mostly for the chase of obtainment.

I own mostly modern. I do enjoy a few vintage straights and of course my fatboy. Put me in the modern camp.

I'm in!! I have to say I enjoy using my modern Merkur 38C (my wife would kill me if I said otherwise as this was a birthday present from her). However, I also enjoy using vintage razors as well ('64 Slim and a NDC Gold Tech). There is just something about shaving with a vintage razor...can't quite put my finger on what it is.
