My grandmother came in today and brought this with her. It's an Old Spice mug. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk
(Early Glass Mug 05) This mug was produced in late 1950's to 1960, the words "Shaving Mug" were printed in blue beneath the image of the ship. The ship appears opposite the handle. The bottom is marked "Early American Old Spice" in a top arc with "Shulton Inc., Clifton, N.J." in a bottom arc. The arcs are separated with a single star on each side. Great gift!!!
Couldn't agree more. Keep that mug in your rotation, if not your daily driver, and imagine the smile your grandfather would have on his face! Both my grandfathers were wet shavers, but both passed long before I got into it. I remember seeing my grandfather's DE and brush sitting by the sink and thinking, "Now THAT'S an ancient looking contraption to be shaving with..."
