Gillette After Shave $2 doesn't suck

So in honor of being Pif'd a Gillette SS I figured I would use it with a Gillette 7 o'clock blade and Gillette AS and the AS isn't that bad I had some laying around and decided to try it again it did the job and smells awesome. It also contains menthol so it cools the face s lot.

I use it at times. Good for when my skin gets a bit irritated from heat and humidity.

 

Sounds great. Which 7o'clock was it? How does the VDH shave butter perform?

 

After winning the Gillette SS I thought it would be fun to do a throwback shave with pretty much all Target bought products. VDH luxury soap with VDH shave butter as a pre shave because the soap is a bit drying finished off with some Gillette AS. I figured it would be fun this weekend I'm going to start a 30 day focus.

It was a 7 o'clock sharp edge.
The shave butter is great I use it as preshave with the VDH soap. Stand alone my facial hair is too this for a shave butter. As a preshave it's awesome leaves an amazing post shave feel and smells great too. It's funny but combined these two VDH products actually make a decent soap.

That's the only aftershave or balm my wife likes. She tolerates the others but this is the only one she comments positively about.
