Does any one have a good quality picture of the Gillette diamond? The ones i have found on them internets is only 300X300 resolution.
You're welcome. Restoring the lining in a case? I know of a TSD Member that had an ink stamp made for that purpose.
Yes i am. i hope this vold vinyl will stick. I dont think i will do enough to justify buying a stamp, although, that sounds more like the way to go.
Check with John @John Ruschmeyer. I suggested he might shop a supply of the cloth, give them the silver ink stamp, and list them in the BST thread. Folks that restore cases could then cut and trim to fit their restoration projects. Are the linings originally all purple with silver ink?
@jimjo1031 could probably talk about the variables but it's not quite that simple. Something like a Tuckaway is velvet (bottom) and satin (top). Others seem to be velvet on both top and bottom. The ink color seems to match the set color (silver on silver/nickel sets, gold on gold sets).
