So who snagged this one? Too bad it never saw this finish line.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=120401967152
I dunno, but I can't look at things like that or else my bank account has nightmares. I'm guessing it had a buy it now and they jumped on it.
I think it is dishonest to end the auction early. Once it is put on the block let the highest bidder win!!
so the guy had a BIN of $9.99 and realized it was too cheap so he canceled the auction and relisted it..is that what im seeing?
I thought it was a re-list, but looking at it again it looks like the mirror in the one listed is in worse condition. I don't know if they actually had two, or if they thought they could clean the mirror and managed to damage it in the process. Strange.
It's the same. The picture of the outer shipper and the closed box is identical to the one in the first listing, stains and all. I think they really did break it like they said. Not a private BIN. It IS dishonest to end bidding for a private offer. EBay does not offer that as a legit reason for ending an auction. That's why there always some other reason listed. If you're going to accept an offer, LIST it with a BIN or Best Offer. Unfortunately, there's no way to enforce it.
Sorry! I'd better stop before I insult someone's religion or something! We now return you to your regularly scheduled "Gillette Executive" thread...
I hope it turns out well for whoever won this, because I contacted the seller when the auction was live specifically requesting pictures of the top, bottom, and inside of the razor, and here is what I received: You can see that the center bar is pretty chewed-up looking and keeping the blade in looks like he was hiding something. After I got this picture, I asked for another without the blade in it, but got no response. Caveat emptor.
