Thanks for the info. I think I looked on Mr Razor site the other day and he didn't have a pic as nice as this one. I'm very happy
The kid in me would have to open it. If it wasn't for him I would be a rich man just from Star Wars toys I had then. Ebay prices are getting to crazy for me, I don't find gem(no pun intended)every time. But at least junk stores, flea markets, and antique shops get me out of the house.
That is gorgeous! Just seeing this picture makes me want to go on a yard sale and flea market binge...I know that somebody, somewhere has an unappreciated stash of these things sitting in their garage. I want!
I...... would shave with it. does noone any good sitting in a package. just my .02 lol nice score at any rate.
I lose like $100 if I open it. So I can't do that. This razor is bought to resell later if prices continue to move up.
That's a beauty! I would be torn... but I guess it's no different than shaving with my birthday Fatboy every birthday.
"GREAT" score...I'm not a big collector, I like shaving with my razors..HOWEVER, since you can easily get a shaver grade Slim for shaving, I'd definately leave this one as is!! In the package like it's not only a "GREAT" collectable, but it's worth "ALOT" more than just an NOS or mint razor with the case, but without the packaging. Also it will grow in value constantly and there will always be someone who will want to buy it.....
As a person born in '67 I say to you well done sir. I scored myself an M2, but of course mine was not in the original package. I think you are doing the right thing by not opening it. Keep it's value in case someone like me makes you an offer you can't refuse.
I believe 1968 was the last year the Slims were made. One of mine is an N4, last of the last I guess. It's also my birth year/quarter razor.
