This was one of my first TTO safeties. It does not disappoint. I would not recommend this to a newb though as the weight allows for too much pressure to be applied. The weight of this piece is 2.0oz which is light. The lightness of the piece allows for some quick shaving and the possibility of too much pressure being applied to create razor burn and nicks. Once this is ironed out it is a great shaver. Balance is great. All the weight is at the head and this allows for a tweezer like pinch at the knob to rest the head nicely on the face. A 3 pass BBS in most cases with most beards. Ease of use. Lather, Open, Load, Shave, rinse repeat. Grip is great with the positive raised knurls and the flaired knob on the end. Price, $20 usually from other places, may be slightly higher or lower depending condition and series. Stay with the BST and keep your money here.
My Favorite Razor! I was PIF'd this razor from Stingraysrock, and the first time I used it, it became my favorite. I haven't used a lot of different razors, but between my EJ and my new Weishi, the Super Speed, just hits the mark right in the middle for me. Not too aggressive and not too mild. I had to give it all 10's. Can't find anything wrong with this razor! I think it would be a good choice for beginners to experienced shavers.
