Gillette travel tech, a review

Hello gents and gals. So here's my opinion:

The gillette travel tech, which was generously PIFed to me by mr Jayaruh, was my weapon of choice this morning. When I put it together, I was excited. Turned out to be good reasoning too. The TT is a great little shaver, and in my opinion much better than my fatboy adjustable. At least with the blades I have. So I got up this morning knowing I needed a nice shave for filling out applications and talking jobs with managers so I popped in a dorco and went to work. The razor seemed mild, but it cut cleaner than I was used to, especially ATG. And I love how short the handle is, make it for me to maneuver around the chin and upper lip. My four pass shave was super bbs and not a lick of irritation! Although I nicked my self on my lip, that was my fault. The only thing is I would prefer the handle to be knurled like my fatboy. Also, being my first three-piece razor, taking the blade out was a little tricky to get the hang of. All in all, I have a new favorite!

I'm glad you like the travel tech. It is a good shaver. Now, for your next 3-piece razor I suggest the fat handled tech. It is from the 30s and is one of my favorites. My favorite 3-piece is the Gillette NEW Open Comb.

I will definitely look into that. Although my wife doesn't give me very much shaving allowance.

I have fallen for my Fat handle tech as well. It has only provided me one bad shave, and that was because of my technique.

Those pictures are pretty small. Do you have bigger ones? It looks clean as far as I can see.

I've noticed that some TTs have different knurling. Is this an age thing?

I believe you are correct there. They made these over many years.

I tried the original listing. I found the picture I posted by looking at the sellers other items, it's just like the one I got. I will take pictures of it when I receive it.
