I have purchased a Gillette Super Speed from 1949 & was trying to match the blade dispenser & blades ot around that date, it would be silly to put the exact 1949 blades in there unless it was mint & had not been used. So I have paid over the odds for a dispenser that matches & a set of used blades in there box that has been glued shut, so god knows what's in there, but in the dispenser the blade is Y4 ? (See Photo). Y1, Y2 & Y3 were 1953, there was no Y4, 1954 was Z2. I have tried to contact Mr Razor but the link does not work, any help please.
mr razor might not have a y-4 dispenser to display..he also doesn't have/list every model/set of razor made by gillette every year and country.
Thanks for that, in my ignorance I just presumed they were all there, Y must come for the same year because Z is 1954, so I am happy with that, Thanks Steve.
