The Musgo Real Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #423 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 47 Gillette Super Speed Razor with an Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Stuart, what settings do you use on that FatBoy to equal the shave on y0ur Red Flare Tip? Curious here.

 

On the Fatboy & Slim I use setting #5, as far as the Red Tip I have no idea how it compares to the settings on my adjustable razors.

DE SOTD, Dec 11th 2021

Razor: Gillette New Long Comb, Canadian variant- Mfg 1930's, nice mid range, well built, one of the better 3 pc Gillette's I have used.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP(2) great blade, Sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap: Gillette Pure cream, this is a nice rich cream, nice fresh scent with excellent lather qualities.(misted)
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Ferrari boar brush, excellent lather generator, silky smooth split end tips, nice scrub. excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion (balm) + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Gillette New long comb with a Gillette 7oClockSP blade.
