as you should.the early superspeed wasn't really offered in canada or england ,only as rockets or 'crat jr's in limited quantities.
Truth be told, of the hand/machine crafted razor that I have? I'll reach for a 'New' 'Tech' 'SuperSpeed' 'Aristocrat' before any. But in all honesty I do shave with two or three different razors in any given week. All shaving soaps/creams have their place as to DE razors, as do DE razor blades and I use at least two different of each each week. I try not to do anything by habit. p.s. And between the rocket and the Feather, I would reach for the Rocket 8 of 10 times.
very cool.while i have favorites as well ,i do do use them all.i try to use a blade up in a razor now before changing the razor out.
I know that you're right, and I guess I could have said 66 Super Speed black handle but. Hey Gary, spring of 1968 I had a brand spanking new Black Beauty even though they weren't supposed to be out. In Vietnam we may have gotten things before they were released to the public. Who knows? We used to buy French Champagne for $3.50 also. In Vietnam I owned both the 84 and the 109. I actually like the 84 better for the balance. Darn and it's not allowing me to post these.
i get that Mac.wasn't trying to be a "this is what is is " type guy.i am a nobody here but i try to teach gillette stuff based on what i have learned here.
