I broke out my Gillette black beauty (O3) and my @Jayaruh brush #221 for this morning’s shave. I used a Personna lab blue blade and Stirling hot apple cider soap. What a nice shave!

I shaved with these the other day in my Gillette slim adjustable and want to get your guys take on them. I’m almost positive they are vintage but I think I heard KenSurfs say you can still get these in South America new. They were kind of tuggy on the first pass but I don’t pass judgement on a new blade on its first use . Have you tried them ? And what’s your thoughts on its performance. I will try the Gillette blue blade at a later date

Are those Gillette platinum blades vintage? I’ve seen a Hindi-Pack on eBay for the same price as the regular style packs

they are great blades,made for a different market maybe? they are stampd differently than the regular ones as well.

the south american ones i believe are stainless.the vintage like you have are from the 30s/40s and are carbon steel ..

Even if they don’t shave good there still cool as hell just to keep as a memento from years past

yes sir,cool they are..i have a pack or 2 in my vintage sets..
