I did a shave soap and aftershave in Glacial Lemony Orange by request for the posters in the Stirling Exchange thread. The soap is here https://www.stirlingsoap.com/collections/shave-soap/products/glacial-lemony-orange-shave-soap And the aftershave here https://www.stirlingsoap.com/collec...glacial-lemony-orange-100ml-aftershave-splash
FWIW: I don’t know how many of you remember the old Lemony Orange. This was a soap that combined the absolute best of the two citrus scents, from a while before the Glacial/Iced/Menthol kick took off. A couple of years ago, I asked Rod about a Glacial version of the scent. There was a small beta test version, which I fell in love with, and have been hoarding the remnants ever since. Through a rabble of voices carrying pitchforks, and I guess maybe spurred by me, Rod agreed to make a batch for his fans in the Stirling Exchange. Just sayin: If you like the citrus thing, and you are a face freezer; proud or closeted, this stuff is amazing.
It's thanks to you (and Rod) that I discovered the beauty of the Glacial MITA - now I'm going to discover this one!
I wonder if the Clubman alchohol aftershaves are a follow-up to Meeter and some of the others I've heard about
My soap arrived today. Smells great. I'll give it a go later today or tomorrow, although I've never had a Stirling soap let me down.
Interesting you have a quote by Benjamin Franklin, as to me the only Stoylin that might let me down IS Ben Franklin. Not the slickness factor, the scent.
