anyone know of a good indian mart that stocks GodRej in the tampa bay area , need address..... friend of mines folks just moved to the area and would be willing to bring some back for me in jacksonville, fl when they visit thier son ... Ive tried the deluxe but not the lime or the menthol and would love to give them a try but dont wanna pay $8-10 a tube when I know it can be had much cheaper
I have looked all over Tampa and Orlando and found no local source for Godrej. At one place I asked the shop owner if he could get it, he checked with his vendor and said they do not carry it.
I thought they can be had on the amazons for pretty cheap? Much less than 8 bucks a tube. I would recommend the menthol one. I had had the menthol and deluxe the menthol is wonderful. I think the scent is like a clean toilette but nothing too bad.
Perhaps try a small world market type of store? We have a store called Jasmines here in Greensboro NC that from time to time will carry it.
I would only suggest looking for Indian or sometimes they are listed as "Indo / Pak" groceries. That is where I buy Godrej here in the Atlanta area. The variety is usually sketchy but usually they will carry all of the flavors as well as Dettol and Vicco (strange stuff) and Old Spice. And, they have alum blocks for 3 bucks as well. I hope that helps. Will N.
I've called all of the Indian grocery stores about a year ago and none of them carried any Godrej products go figure. Shave a Buck carries all the flavors for $4.75 a tube, that is the best price I've seen for them.
My brother bought me some back from India - less than a $1 a tube including a disposable razor. Don't worry it went straight into the bin
I was going to order from that eBay guy, lordkrishna I think is his handle. Anyone have any experience with him? I like the Gillette black blades, too, and he handles those as well.
All you need to do is buy a plane ticket. Fill up a bag or two full of cream and start up the Godrej black market in Tampa. :happy102
This Godrej stuff is so hard to find, even here in Montreal. No Indian store carries it--in fact some of the store owners even say they never heard of it. Yeah, right! :happy102
Hmmm interesting. I talked to my supervisor who is from India and he has used it before. Doesn't know where or if it is locally available. O well, maybe next trip to Toronto for Indian shopping he might pick me up some.
