    Found this neat little collection at a Goodwill store for $4. Green shaving mug, sealed puck of vintage Surrey soap, an unused Surrey or VDH brush and an unknown little boar brush. I would've plunked down the $4 just for the Surrey soap because I really like it a lot. I haven't tried the chrome brush yet, but if the knot seems usable I'm thinking about removing the cheap plating and maybe spray painting it.

    Can anyone identify the maker of the mug? I thought maybe it was a Surrey but all of the ones I have are old cars.

    Here's a couple pictures.

    Just goes to show many places have potential as hunting grounds for shave stuff. :happy088:

    I would love to find some Surrey soap! It was the first shaving soap I ever tried to use. It was my dad's from the 70s. Basically a bathroom decoration. I started trying to use it almost 30 years ago... and I was very bad at it. I keep meaning to hunt some down so I can redeem myself.

    @Tom,
    Yeah man....you're always finding killer stuff out in the wild.....Since I've been back in the States here in the Pacific North West, I've searched my Goodwills and flea markets like a series of CSI.....I don't know.....I'm thinking invaders from the North.....To be more specific.....I think maybe Rocket Man has swung down here from Our Neighbor to the North enough times to thin our Second Hand Shaving stuff herd clean out....:happy097::happy102:

    Thanks everyone. I'm really curious about the mug, I think I've seen that logo somewhere before but I just can't remember where. I've searched a little on eBay but haven't seen one like it yet.

    Bird, you're probably right, the RocketDood can be quite sneaky!

    Looks to me like there is a British, French connection. The lion bottom left(English) and French top right. I forget what they call the French emblem but it is on the Quebec provincial flag in Canada. Send me an email and I will send you a picture of their flag.
