Well, this seems to be a great place to learn and hang out! I've ordered some initial gear since I've been a Norelco and Braun guy for years. I got a cheap boar from Walgreens and some Clubman AS and am using some metal razor my dad had with disposables as practice. I've got a Futur on order as well as some Feathers... Truefitt & Hill cream/cologne sample kit Shaving creams-Speick, Tabac, Proraso, Musgo and Palmolive in the lighter green box and the Proraso pre/post balm. My wife and daughter think I'm nuts(prolly right) since I've got a goatee, but ritual is appealing and I can't wait to experiment with mine.
...just wait until I know what I'm doing! I am afraid for my wallet and you guys/gals are going to be a bad influence when I start seeing your dens. I'm a sucker for smell-goodie stuff and I am a research-a-holic, so this is right up my alley. I figure if I'm only shaving half of my face because of the goatee, my lack of skill will be masked enough to not cause me to look like I stepped into a pack of feral cats. I wear the goatee, circle beard, van dyke or whatever they call it and there is plenty of real estate left to enjoy the shaves.
welcome Good shave to you sir. I shave around a goatee also, i find it nicer with a DE than plastic stick with two blades. B

It would take me 2367 years to grow a handlebar...lol. Handlebars are cool. I also like those western-style mouse-stashes that are kinda fumanchu-like. My goatee is pretty weak as is. My shaving used to be *pluck-owww* and done. :happy102
