Hello, 21 yr old from Michigan here. I stumbled upon wet shaving from mantic59's videos on youtube. I thought I'd give it a shot so I ordered some shaving gear. I've already received a Tweezerman badger brush, and some Derby blades. I also have a Lord L6 coming in the mail tomorrow. I'm not exactly loaded right now so I'll be budget shaving for a little while. I bought some Williams mug soap from Meijers (smells good) and enjoyed shaving with it. Much better than any aerosol can that I've tried. I know there are a lot of products out there so I will be trying more when I'm able. There seems to be a lot of good info here and I will be trying to learn all that I can.
Howdy and :signs046 to The Shave Den! Shaving on a budget is a great thing, sticking to your budget is even better. There are great shaving items at every price point, and there's not a thing wrong with keeping it simple (especially as you are getting started).
