Hair Conditioner as a pre-shave

Yes conditioner as a pre-shave works. I have only tried it twice just to see if it makes a difference and it certainly does. Why twice, let's say throwing conditioner on my stubble seems to be the last thing on my mind when I clean up at night. I just want to shower, shave and relax. I recommend this to you guys that have coarse hair as I found it is a great help. Now I am just waiting on someone stating that has already been posted.

 

Yep. You can also use it as shaving cream in a pinch.

I used it for years as my only shaving cream, during which time walking out of the bathroom with only one wad of bloody toilet paper stuck to my face counted as A Good Shave. I'd blamed the conditioner for that but now realize it was 30% bad disposables and 70% utter lack of prep and technique. I'd use it again if I had to, so I have no doubt it makes for good pre-shave.

 

Used it as a pre-shave and cream for years (back in my cartridge shaving-in-the-shower days)

 

I've never tried it, but I do know that a lot of women use in in place of a shave cream.
