Rod Neep Custom Shaving Brushes http://www.pensoftheforest.co.uk/ The natural figures in this Cocobolo beauty look like an owl, right down to the two dark feet: Detailed work in soapstone from Kenya: Stainless Steel + Malachite, Ivory-resin, Quartz & Soapstone:
Wow. Gorgeous scales surrounded by class, from the RL set & vtg OS right down to the script on the witch hazel. *whistles*
The razor was one from Glen's personal collection. I talked him into selling it. The RL set was one of my unicorns, and I'm still looking for the matching Safari razor. The Old Spice bottle was an eBay find- every gentleman should have their old spice in glass. The extra $10 or $15 dollars is worth it, I feel. The Witch Hazel is just printed out on a clear return address label and stuck on an 80's era spice jar. I now have a source that does laser etching, any design, on metal or glass. Right now I'm just waiting on a special set of bottles with ground glass stoppers to show up. If they pass muster, I'll send them off to be engraved with various designs, including a vintage style Witch Hazel label. Glen is a better photographer than I, so here is the original picture that I saw when Glen first showed this razor off: ...sorry about the thread hijack.

Charlie Lewis Straights are the first custom razors I fell in love with.. still at the top of my list as far as customs go..
Wild retro-avian-steampunk, right?! He sells them with Dorcos, but I'm not sure if they are the shavette/shaper SEs or DEs that you cut in half. I'm happy to email him (or would you rather send an Etsy convo & ask some barber shop questions too? )
