    My Dad was a Sea Bee in WWII in the South Pacific. He is about 30 in this picture. He was one of the original Sea Bees since he entered the Navy in 1942.

    I was an Army Combat Engineer, (the Army version of the See Bees), in the National Guard during Viet Nam, but never called-up. The eight weeks of Combat Engineer training made Basic Training feel like vacation.
