Thank you for the good wishes. I count the good folks at this forum among the blessings for which I give thanks today.
I'll be doing my Thanksgiving dinner on Sat, but I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving Day today.
OK, so what did everyone cook? Any specialties? I'll start; Since it was just the 2 of us, we made a roast chicken. I made the cranberry sauce & stuffing (with sausage & chopped apples) and my husband made the spiced potatoes (white & sweet). We had pecan pie, (bought from a colleague of his), topped with whipped cream, made by me. Now I'm off to order some bigger pants.
That stuffing sounds wonderful. My sister cooked, and more important than the food (all the traditional favorites and then some), her kids weren't little monsters and her in-laws didn't spend the day bickering with each other. Truly, a Thanksgiving miracle.
