    Can someone describe the scent of mwf for me? Or is it scentless?

    It's a gentle soapy smell mildly sweet.

    Not getting "sweet", but agree that it is a very subtile, natural, soapy scent. Dove? Williams?

    Dove soap is a good measure not like Arko and no where near as strong.

    I too have been put off on buying the fat due to the lathering issues I've read over the years.

    I have soft water so it shouldn't be an issue at all it sounds like. Have been using a puck of Haslinger and really like it. Heard that they are both great soaps. Will have to give it a try when the Haslinger gets all used up.
