Has anyone ever used up an entire alum block? And I dont mean drop and break it, I mean really USE it all up =) Just something that popped up in my head
I have a 60g RazoRock alum stick I bought 6-7 years ago that would have been gone a while ago if I used it every day.
I won the No Buy July PIF in August of 2014. It had a new OSMA Alum block in world class paper case. It was my first time to use alum, and I have been using it ever since. My block is getting thin, but I will use it until it breaks. I have bought a replacement for it, but I anticipate this one will eventually break before I finish it. Maybe I will even use it after it breaks. HA!
Does that make you an alumnus? And if I agreed with you, which would indeed be a rarity, would we then be alumni?
I've used one to the point where I couldn't really hold it any longer, that's about as close as I've gotten to completely used up.
Oddly enough, yes and no. I had one, my very first, that I almost used up (before dropping/breaking it). I used it every day and on the whole face = extensive use. But the one that replaced it almost looks complete still, even though it's been used much also. I don't see it gone the next ten years with that use... Had I not dropped the first one, it would have been used up. But this second one, I don't see it coming soon. Both have and are stored the same way - open bowl.
I only use mine to slide my fingers across when I need loose skin taut. I expect it will last a very long time. I've had it for over a year and it looks as though it was never used.
