I'm glad to have found this site. I've already made some posts but here's a more formal introduction of myself: I live in the Sarasota area of Florida and I like to get out on my road bike and sea kayak when the weather is good. I've got two boys and a lovely wife and a job I like. So, I thought everything was the way it should be - and then I discovered wet shaving... and it only got better! I got hooked about two months ago. For many years I had a GEM 1912 and two straights in my dresser drawer that belonged to my Grandpa. By chance, I was in a mall and saw an Art of Shaving store and ended up with a trial kit. Of course, that got me thinking about the razors I'd had stashed away for a few decades. After a little research I found blades could still be bought for the 1912 and it just kind of snowballed from there. I haven't tried the straights (yet) and my current line up of single edge razors now numbers 10 - an even split between GEMs of various types and Schicks. I'm glad to have found TSD and to be a new member of this community.
Western Canada is one of my favorite places. Honeymooned in Jasper and have been back at least 5 times over the years.

to TSD "Karl G" I'm glad your enjoying it here. You have really nice collection of razors there. Have you tried your G-bar or Featherweight yet? My favorite SE is the ER 1924 "shovelhead".
