Hello, my name is Jamie from central Massachusetts (near Worcester). I had always wet shaved with disposable razors , but always used old spice after shave and added clubman and stephans tou rotation about 5 years ago. So innocently bought a saftey razor 3 months ago (with a ugly reality show star on the package) and the illness started. I dumped the cheapy after 3 shaves and now have a bunch of new and vintage safety's. .. my favorite is my 1974 gillette black beauty. ..

Welcome Jamie @EzraCobb ! Glad you joined us. Nothing wrong with that bald pawn shop guys razor. If you liked the style, it's a Chinese reproduction of a Gillette Flare Tip. The original was/is solid brass and they are still around. Either one is a fine relatively mild razor. I'm with you when it comes to those Adjustable Gillettes - good stuff

What is strange is that pawn razor was aggressive to my face? Blade Seemed un balanced, so i think the one i got was a dud...
