New member from Texas. I've come back to de shaving after 40+ yrs. using cartridges. Been 3 or 4 weeks now. Always used brush and mug even with the multi blades. Look forward to reading everyones post. Thanks for having me.

Hello and welcome. I too always used a brush. Im not sure why all the rest of this escaped me. Wasn't til a few years ago, when the cost of cartridges annoyed me that I searched for another way. Hope you enjoy your time here, share, and ask. It's a great bunch here.

Alternating between Mitchell's wool fat and plain old Williams right now. Can't really tell ones any better than the other. Got a puck of Oglala I'm gonna try next. Don't really have a favorite yet. Up until now its pretty much been whatever was available when I ran out. Buying it online now so probably try some different stuff.
