    Hello,
I just joined The Shave Den and wanted to say hello to everyone. I’ve been wet shaving with DE safety razors since March. Like so many others, I started because I was tired of spending $4 for each plastic cartridge. I did not even know they made DE safety razor blades anymore. One day I stumbled across some of Matt Pisarcik’s Razor Emporium videos on YouTube and fell headlong into a rabbit hole! I don’t think I have saved any money yet, but I keep telling my wife EVENTUALLY I will… right…??? I do actually enjoy shaving for the first time in my life and I keep reminding my wife about the amount of money she spends on makeup and shoes so I think it will all even out at some point.

    Cheers & God bless everyone!

I vote new. The handle length and weight alone justifies this for me. I have XL hands. Besides that, there is more variety today than the past. You won't forget and any AC type vintage razors for example. Also, most new razors are less expensive than vintage with we compare apples to apples, which means brand new in the package.
