Still waiting for blade sampler and razor to arrive -- Gillette twist open with black handle. Meantime shaving with Van Der Hagen.
Been shaving with the Gillette razor -- a beauty. Much better than VDH. Thanks for advice. I'll give update again in few weeks but so far so good!
Great to hear! And once you get your technique improved, you might just find that the VDH gives a pretty good shave, also. I had a few razor that didn't impress me when I was starting out. Funny, but as I got better, the razors got better!
