I have a couple of those. Try shaving with it. You will swear it is worth at least $8.50. Seriously, though, they are nice razors if you like the small handle. Of course, virtually any handle can be used as a substitute. Definitely worth it.
I guess it's kinda funny since I'm a member of a forum that deals in vintage razors, but I actually don't shave. I'm rocking a full beard I'm looking to just build my collection a little. I only have a 1953 superspeed right now. They had a gold played razor that was a different brand but it was $10 and the finish looked really bad in the photos. I prefer the silver/chrome razors mostly because they seem like they clean up easily.
I know this was posted 2 weeks ago. I found it in my Bulk Mail folder (Mozilla Thunderbird Strikes again ! ) I would say if you got it you got your monry's worth.
