Found this Gillette open comb at a yard sale the other day.
I hope someone can help me identify the model, and a possible age.

    Thx in advance..

It's a British Flat Bottom New most likely made in the 30's. I am sure that is not the technical answer and I am sure someone will be along with the correct information shortly.

    Likely this. A #77 perhaps?

If you use it, make sure that the bent tooth isn't pushing the blade up, or the cornered (?) cap isn't pushing the blade down.

    They are a great shave!

    Thx guys..

I have not yet tried the razor, but the bend tooth is no problem, the blade is straight and fits perfectly.

The handle looks very much like a Single Ring though it is threaded at the top like the later models. Recycled parts?

Moving thread to Safety Razors, a more appropriate place than Straight Razors.
