I am trying ti get this red tip in great condition. Im not planning on reselling it I just want it to look the best it can for my little collection. It looks like the metal has worn away or something is on top of it where the patent numbers are Ive boiled it, bar friend keepers, tilex, vinegar and I still cant get it off. Also is their some way to re paint the red tip without making a mess?
