    Hi all,

Just joined the forum today (fortunately Tapatalk is supported here!), so I wanted to say hi :)

For those who are interested; my daily DE razor is a Schick Krona, and for travel I trust on Trac II and Atra cartridges. Since about a year ago, I got converted to synthetic brushes, and I have sold or given away all my animal hair brushes (I had a few boars and one badger).

My problem? I have more soaps and aftershaves than I can ever finish in my lifetime. But somehow I don't feel this forum is going to help me solve that ;-)

Apart from the shaving hobby, my main interests are fountain pens, motorcycles, and wristwatches. The latter make wetshaving feel really inexpensive!

Thanks for reading this far, and I look forward to engaging in the various discussions!

I hope you enjoy it here. I also still use my Trac2 on occasion, it's not nearly as good as my 3 piece, but certainly as good as anything with more blades. If you have an opportunity to try out a "Bump Fighter" handle for your Trac2 carts give it a try. It's a real improvement IMO over the original Trac2 handle and the Bump Fighter carts are single edge.

I've also taken up an interest in using/collecting fountain pens. My collection is modest mainly Chinese pens and couple of Japanese pens. Somehow "traditional" shaving and writing with fountain pens seem to go together in my mind. :)

Hello and welcome to The Shave Den! :happy088:

That is correct! We're just a bunch of enablers here!

I like sport watches. I'm currently wearing an MKII Nassau on a black NATO. Next up is my Omega Speedmaster. What are you wearing today? :)
