Who's tastes run South of the border? My faves are:

    Casa Noble Crystal
    Casa Noble Reposado
    Casa Noble Anejo
    El Tesoro Platinum
    El Tesoro Reposado
    El Tesoro Anejo
    Partida Blanco
    Partida Reposado
    Partida Anejo
    Cabo Wabo Reposado

And one of the best tequilas that can't be called tequila:

    J B Wagoner's Blue Agave Spirits -- ole!

Gotta love the Agave Juice :D

Cabo is always in the rotation. I have family that always sends me bottles of different stuff, wish I could remember what they are but after a few glasses well you know the answer to that :happy102

AHHH, yes. Not a sipper, though. Favorites are:

Patron Silveror Sauza Hornitos for a margarita
Cazadores for a shooter, not too often, though.

    Definately chased with a pacifico!

I usually only drink reposado or anejo tequilas. Off the top of my head, the ones I have purchased bottles of and consumed - by myself I must add - include:

Casa Noble - reposado & anejo
    Carazon - reposado & anejo
    Don Julio 1942 - anejo
Jose Cuervo Tequila Reserva de la Familia - anejo
    Cabo - reposado & anejo
    Don Valente - anejo
    Don Fernando - reposado
    Cazadores - anejo
    Chinaco - anejo
Don Julio - reposado & anejo
Don Julio Tequila Real - anejo
    Herradua - reposado & anejo
    El Tesoro - anejo
    Espolon - reposado & anejo
    Herradura Tequila Seleccion Suprema
    Buscadores - reposado & anejo
    Milagro - reposado & anejo
    Asombraso - reposado & anejo
    Pofidio - anejo
    Corzo - reposado
El Senorio Mezcal - anejo. This one is not for the faint of heart.

I am certain there are some others I am forgetting. My two favorite are Corazon and Don Julio 1942. I have tried glasses of Patron reposado on two separate occasions and the result was a nasty headache! I know there are Gents who enjoy Patron but I am not one of them. Here is a shot of me at my favorite tequila shop in Playa del Carmen.

My wife and I were sitting on the balcony right there when all the lights went out in downtown Playa. She was a bit nervous and asked what we should do. I noticed the well armed Playa police force standing nearby on the corner so we just stayed put until the power went back on. I think I was at this fine shop 5-6 days out of 10.

Not to drag up an old thread, but I have a bottle of Mezcal sitting on my shelf for about 15 years now, worm and all. Wonder if it's even safe anymore...

As safe as it ever was. :sick007

I had three worms one new years eve, it was a good night!

I really like tequila. I go for the pedestrian Patron. As long as I keep it under three shots I'm fine. Any more and look out!

Has anyone tried Tarantula Azul? If you can get past the blue mouthwash color, the citrus flavor is actually pretty nice.

Don julio is my favorite and I absolutely hate Patron. Patron is the cheapest made most overpriced tequila ever. I refuse to drink it and lecture everyone who offers it to me about how bad it is. Honestly though I drink more Sauza then anything. My friends and I used to have tequila saturdays....1 shot each to start the day off.

I don't have an extensive collection, though I've sampled quite a few.
    Right now my cabinet includes:

Milagro Reposada (though I like the anejo quite a bit as well)
El Mandamas Anejo (acquired in Cozumel, haven't cracked it yet)
Del Maguey 'San Luis del Rio' 2002 (single village mezcal)

    Ditto...hate patron.

My favorite is Clase Azul Reposado, I discovered it at Maromma Resort just north of Playa del Carmen a couple months ago. My wife and I are going back to Maromma next week and looking forward to a great beach, food and Clase Azul.

Clase Azul is not easily found in the US so I serve El Tesoro Platinum for margaritas and Don Julio blanco for Palomas.
