I can't say I've ever even seen a "Deluxe Criterion" and so, as a collector, it is appealing; but it appears much like a regular "New Gillette" except with a handle styled more like the "New Improved" models. It is a very handsome razor, but then, so is a New Improved, especially a silver plated one when it's all polished up. I'm afraid for the price difference, I'd stick to a "New Standard" or some such model of the New Improved. I'm afraid I've long since given up any idea of ever having "one of every model". There has been a set like that sitting in an antique shop here in Adelaide for 6 months. Not as pristine as that one,although complete.I thought $AU45 was a bit expensive.happy102
