I made some cream using one third Shea butter, one third coconut oil and a small amount of olive oil. Melted then whisked. This works great. No nicks or cuts. Is this a good thing to use.

What is its texture, at room temperature? Can you post a pic?

Hi. The cream looks like churned butter at room temperature. Soft and creamy looking.

If I am reading this right, I still miss one third of ingredient.

A small amount of olive oil is not one third, right?

    Does it lather?

No. It is a bit like hand soap.

I made something similar a few weeks ago, but I use it as a post shave. It is a bit greasy from all the shea butter and coconut oil, but soothes the skin wonderfully and was inexpensive to make. Glad to hear it can be used as a cream as well.

Yes. I use it as an after shave also. Soon soaks into the skin.
