Gentlemen I'm very curious about the Hone SS DE razor being offered out of the Netherlands. It looks gorgeous in a very minimalist way and from what I can tell from their website, it's a heavy piece of equipment as well...and not cheap. Has anyone here purchased and used one? I'm leaning towards the SS instead of the brass just because it's marginally lighter than the brass model. Thanx.
I had the Hone 15 in raw brass. It shaves great and i enjoyed the shave, BUT! For me, Its extremely head heavy and i felt it was uncomfortable to hold. I ended up selling it because of that. Lol it felt like i had a mini sledgehammer in my hand.
Well, when mine arrives I'll do a review as well. It's a very good looking razor that doesn't seem to have a lot of exposure here so we'll see how it stacks up. But you're right it does seem to be quite heavy. Ti would be an obvious choice in my mind, but then watch the price escalate.
