Here are a couple of images I got last night after my honing job on the broken hone. Technique was a little effected by the shortness, and the angles of abrasion not ideal. But I think it's a pretty decent job. Took me about 2 hours to grind out a chip first with my 1000k (I was waiting to do the whole job at once) Thats a TV in the reflection, and the edge still has some lines to get out as you can see, but it's damn close to shave ready using larry's edge as a guide, Zero irritation and easy going this morning. I actually got bbs on one side of the awkward part of my chin on one side ATG, I need to work on my control with my left hand on my right side for the finishing touch.
