Noob here, just checking in. I've been WetShaving with a DE just under a month now and have already purchased all three Merkur Adjustables (Progress Long Handle is my Favorite) and am settling on The Art Of Shaving as far as creams go. I still trying out several more blades but Im leaning towards my Shark blades to be my top choice with BlueBirds coming in a close second. I'm was actually looking for AfterShave Milk ala Dr. Harris and Gentlemens Refinary and wanted to try out "TheShaveDend" AS Milk samples and I just purchased 3 different ones. As far as my shaving journey goes, I first started shaving with the Schick Protector (yeah, the one with the Red Handle) and ofcourse got misguided into using Mach3s. After that, I got into the whole electronic shaving gig with Norelco and Braun. With those different shaving strategies, I never got a nice smooth shave and it made shaving a bad experience and something I despised doing. I then tried out a DE and I was hooked. I also purchased a DOVO Shavette and am thinking of building up my skills in straight shaving as well. I must say that shaving is now something I look forward to and love the whole ritual and process I go through with it. Remember Noobs...30Degrees and No Pressure!
