Hoppe's #9 Shave Cream

    Are you one of those people who love the smell of Hoppe's in the morning? They make Hoppe's #9 air fresheners. The fragrance is out there, ready to be used in anything from colongne to candles.

    Would you want this scent in a shaving cream or soap?

    I think it would be a fun gift for one of my wet shaving gun fanatic cousins, but do you guys think it could ever be anything more than a gimmick scent, like motor oil?

    I enjoy cleaning my guns, but I don't want to smell like them, lol...

    Makes a great aftershave, the scent lasts long enough for use as a cologne:)

    There was a time long ago when I shot competitively, and really got tired of the Hoppes smell. I was shooting
    1000 rounds a month, and was either at a match 6 to 8 a month locally, or at practice. The rest of the time I was reloading or cleaning. My whole house smelled of it. Thank goodness Break Free came along. I still have a old ammo box that sends out that Hoppes aroma when I open it. Not bad, but I will pass on getting any.

    I like the smell of Hoppes, as I associate it with very enjoyable recreational activities. I don't think I would want it in my shaving soap, though.
