Trying to start a beard for summer (don't ask) but dagnabit, I want a shave.

 

Well, that explains that.

 

Doesn't the itching of a new beard just grate on your nerves? It's like a constant irritant. Scratching doesn't do any good and you can't stop thinking about it.

 

the constant feel of a bug crawling around under the hair..

 

It stops after a week or two but yeah, not comfortable.

 

i actually used the proraso beard balm when that happens and it goes away like pronto..

 

I cleaned up the trike, put some air in the tires & took it for a short ride. It was too nice a day to stay indoors. However, I haven’t used it in a while, so a brief ride was enough.

 

The cream went bad so I skipped coffee this morning, instead had a big cup of straight black Tetley. I'm surprisingly satisfied by it. This could be the start of something English-ish.

Beard is on week 3 or 4, coming in okay for a lot of gray. Look like an old dog.

We're off to fellowship.

Back from a weekend jaunt to York,PA with the hubby. We saw some interesting things including their Fire Museum, the Sunshine Soap Company (where I learned how to make bath fizzies) and one of numerous farmers’ markets.

 

Looks like the TARDIS re-materialized in the wrong time again.
