I can shave with different stuff every day for over two years and not repeat. And I have a very small shelf. How many permutations can you get from your various razors, blades, soaps, brushes, and other stuff? Ok, I'll figure it out formally: Item Types Permutations razors 5 5 soaps 3 15 brushes 2 30 blades 7 210 mugs 4 840 Holy snake snaps!
I refuse to calulate this number, because it could be used against me by SWMBO. I have almost enough.
me thinks you need to do your math again. I've got less than 100 razors and I'm hitting at least 113,400,000 without using an exact count. I'm sure you've got more stuff than me. razors - at least 60 soaps (and creams) - at least 50 brushes - 18 blades - at least 60 mugs - at least 35 60 x 50 x 18 x 60 x 35 = 113,400,000 and then.... how 'bout adding aftershaves? 113,400,000 x (at least) 40 = 4,536,000,000
Yeah think I got the decimal in the wrong place, but even so, I did a quick swag - none of these numbers are 100% accurate.. 110 razors x 35 soaps x 30 brushes x 25 different blades x 12 mugs = 34,650,000 So you are way worse than I am Or maybe I am just 'forgetting' a lot of stuff that should be included......
you need more blades - my long term goal is to try every blade on the market ...and mugs; how can you leave so many soaps without a mug to call home?
Over 1000 if the only variants were brushes and soaps. Add strops, razors, scuttles, aftershaves, I am into a couple lifetimes.
Obviously my original poll questions are low by several orders of magnitude. I am in awe of youse people.
