Since getting rid of cartridges, and learning good DE technique, how often do you shave? For me, I used to shave every day with a Trac II, then a Sensor, then a Mach three, and then the be all end all Gillette Fusion. Those razors required a daily shave. Now, if I do a proper three pass shave, I can't feel stubble until the evening of the day after. It's like I'm disappointed. I'll never use up all the soaps, creams, aftershaves and blades I have. I even have Aqua Velva in the GLASS bottles, around 10 of every scent. I am thinking of going to a one pass DE shave, just so I can finish one puck of soap. What do you think?
What do I think? Enjoy your shave, what ever way that is. Want to experience the shave every day without risking the irritation? Take the blade out of the razor For me, a 3-pass shave every day. Because I can, and because I enjoy it. Not bragging, just sayin'.
Every third day if I do a straight razor triple pass with an electric razor touch up on day three. Every other day if I do a double pass single edge shave.
I’m a routine guy so these days it’s M, W, and Friday. Used to be in the ‘90s I shaved every work day and wore a tie. Times have changed, same company, I’m older so 3 times a week. Do what works for you.
Generally every 3 to 4 days depending on how good the shave was. 3 days after using a DE razor or injector razor. 4 days using the GEM (MMOC and MM Clog-Pruf) and GEM-style (3D SE Adjustable and 3D TNNSER) SE razors.
I should shave everyday. I sometimes skip shaving Mondays and Wednesdays, however, because I can get away with it.
Daily, two pass shave. Sometimes I'll shave again in the evening. Edit: I don't always shave every day. But I have to shave every second day, or I start looking like a bum.
Like @John Beeman I shave two to three days a week ........ since I'm going to be the center of attention tomorrow, I shaved tonight. Just one pass and a light buff.
I shave every day always 2 passes and any necessary touchups. I always strive for a BBS. Nothing irks me more than seeing half-shaven, unkempt neanderthals in business suits thinking they look good. (Oops, my inner monologue came out again.). It's your shave, enjoy it any way you like.
I changed billets about two years ago, although within the same company. I am not customer or executive facing anymore, so I generally shave on Monday, mostly because I am to lazy to shave on the weekend. I still only use a blade for three shaves.
I shave as needed for work. It is either Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. More than 3 times a week is overkill for me.
