Are all black handeld Gillette adjustable razors a Super Adjustable? I would like to find a Super Adjustable and want to be certain how to ID one. I looked at the stick posts, but they only cover thepre-adjustable SS razors.

    thanks

Yes, I think starting in 1969 with the 'O' date code they were known as Super Adjustables.

Yes. The black handle of a Gillette adjustable ID's it as a Super Adjustable. They come in two different handle lengths, but are otherwise identical. The shorter handled one is the same length as a Slim adjustable, while the long handled one is slightly longer.

There were a few variations. There was a short black handle Super adjustable, the more common long black handle Super, a version that had a plastic base plate known as the "Black Beauty" and one plated in gold that I've heard called an Aristocrat.

They should all shave the same.
