Gather the gear you wish to share. Decide if it's all to one winner, or to be spread around. Take photos, and have your postage funds ready. The Guidelines are HERE. A question that gets asked - how do I choose the winner(s)? That's up to you. Random drawing is one option. Asking participants to "do something" so you can choose a winner is good, too. If you have a hobby besides shaving, you might ask for others to share a photo of theirs. It's your show so it's all up to you. The only hard rule - the prize (including shipping) is free to the winner.
Have you looked at OP's recent SOTD posts to see what he's less than happy about? A bit of sleuthing may give you a preview! That sounds somewhere between ominous and encouraging.
Wow...I feel a still-warm carcass on the side of the road being circled by a flock of hungry crows. Patience gentlemen...please! This might take a while.
This is where you think about the hoops you want to make entrants jump through to qualify for your PIF. Spinning on their eyebrows & spitting out wooden nickles comes to mind. Tide Pod Challenge is too easy and can be somewhat fatal.
Step one: Don't announce you're doing a PIF until you're doing a PIF. This is why I only do targeted PIF. No one ever sees it coming.
Actually...I wasn't announcing a PIF...I was asking how a PIF is done if I wanted to do one...at some point in time, unannounced, in the future, hypothetically speaking...
